Army Survival Party

This week the team planned and designed a fantastic army/survival party and sweetie table for a very lucky little boy and his friends and family.

We collected a lot of colour coordinated sweets, as well as some pretty nasty treats for the table including edible barbecued centipedes, chocolate covered crickets and some lollipops with a surprise ingredient..

We wanted to keep the table as natural and lifelike as possible, so on Wednesday I managed to track down some great logs from Epping Forest to make our tree trunk cake stands which I am completely in love with..

Marshmallow Pops

Good morning and welcome back.  I hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend and didn't overdose on chocolate.  Now with all the Easter treats eaten I am sure our thoughts are starting to turn to Jubilee celebrations in June and lots of Summer birthday parties too.  I will be sharing lots of Jubilee celebration ideas with you over the coming weeks and some fun ideas for summer parties aswell, so be sure to keep popping back for lots of inspiration.

Todays post is a quick DIY treat for parties and includes my favourite sweets, marshmallows.  I found this fab tutorial whilst on Pinterest and think it would make a great addition to a dessert or sweet table or as a party favour.  These Marshmallow Pops would also be a fab treat at a baby shower. Whilst this particular tutorial shows a pink and white theme, I am sure you could vary the colours to fit your theme by using icing instead of chocolate or use a different food colouring in your white chocolate.

Have a lovely day,
Zoe
